Maybe I could do it with two couples on the app like in different rooms, but I don’t think it’s worth it at this point. There is a limit of 32 speakers per Sonos system. You can connect up to 32 Sonos speakers together. In the application, you can create multiple “groups,” which can be, for example, all speakers on a floor or all speakers in your home.
I doubt a couple would be enough because I always want to be in the middle.
How many Sonos speakers can be connected to each other?
In rare cases where more than 32 Sonos speakers are used in a single location, the user needs to create two or more accounts. For a seamless look, stands and wall mounts are available for most Sonos speakers and components. The Sonos wireless sound system originally worked by connecting a single speaker to your home network and then adding more Sonos devices (up to a maximum of 3) into the mix, using a dedicated secure wireless mesh network called Sonosnet. Oh, and there’s also the Symfonisk Picture Frame speaker that you can hang on the wall for an extra touch of minimalism.
Can you connect more than 2 Sonos speakers?
If you have a Sonos speaker with voice control, either Sonos One, Sonos Beam, Sonos Move, Sonos Roam, or Sonos Arc, you can turn the microphone on and off. You can turn on Auto Discovery pop-ups so setup cards automatically appear at the bottom of your phone screen when new Sonos products are found nearby. When Recently Played is on, you can quickly access music you’ve recently played in the My Sonos section of the app. If you have a Sonos speaker on your nightstand or in your bedroom and you want to play music to put you to sleep, you might not want the LED light to come on.
